ELEVATOR BOX IN BASEMENT OF BASE ISOLATED HOUSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the mutual oscillation of an elevator box on a basement side and the elevator box on a ground floor side during earthquake in the case of installing the elevator running between a basement and a ground floor in a base-isolation supported housing with the basement. SOLUTION: The elevator box 14 placed at a portion of the basement 12 is supported being lifted down from the ground floor side of a building body, so that it can be oscillated integrally with the building body.
