PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat for food container by which usage of detergent and wash water is decreased and operating efficiency for washing is improved to decrease cost accompanied with use of the container and the container can be hygienically and visibly well used. SOLUTION: A plurality of inverted-V-shaped angle-folded parts 3 are provided by intervals on which stored food can be placed and stored in one direction of the surface of a synthetic resin sheet or film and the whole shape is formed in such a way that the flat surface parts 2 of the sheet or the film under a condition where the angle-folded parts are stood are approximately the same size as the inner bottom face of a food container 10 and patterns are applied on the angle-folded parts.
