PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type carrying container capable of further reducing the weight thereof while maintaining the strength of a container body. SOLUTION: The folding type carrying container comprises the bottomed parallelepiped container body 11 and a lid body 12. The container body 11 comprises a bottom wall 13, a pair of long side walls 14 and a pair of short side walls 15 which are erected on a peripheral edge thereof and facing each other, respectively. The lid body 12 has a substantially rectangular plate-like upper wall 16. The walls 13-16 comprises a frame part 21 and a plurality of ribs 22 provided on the inside thereof, and a mesh part 25 is provided on an inner part surrounded by the frame parts 21 and the plurality of ribs 22 by heat-bonding net-like members 24 substantially over the whole inner sides.
