PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun visor mounting structure capable of complying with a change in plate thickness in a ceiling mounting part according to a difference of a vehicle type. SOLUTION: In this sun visor mounting structure, the sun visor and a roof lining 40 are mounted to a roof panel 50 via a mounting bracket, and when the roof panel 50 is clamped by means of a stopper 27 and an engaging piece 25 from the upper and lower sides, the mounting bracket is fixed to the roof panel 50. A mounting part plate thickness regulating contact part 53 abutting to the back face of the roof lining 40 is arranged in the roof panel 50, and according to the plate thickness of the roof lining, a projection height of the contact part 53 is set, so that an adjustment to the plate thickness change of the roof lining 40 can be made.
