PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable presence of a contact part between the crests of waves and between the crest and the plane part of the waves and prevent the occurrence of lateral displacement to the contact part, in a wave coil spring. SOLUTION: A leaf spring material formed of a flat steel wire waved through wave processing is wound in a coiling manner to obtain a wave coil spring such that the crest and the crest or the crest and the plane part of waves between coil pitches are brought into proximity with each other. A recessed part or a protrusion part formed on one of the surfaces, opposed to each other, of the crest and the crest or the crest and the plane part of the waves and a protrusion part or a recessed part in the other thereof and by engaging the recessed part and the protrusion part with each other, a problem is solved. |
