PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device and a camera having the device by which a shutter chance is never missed by utilizing an ocular state detection circuit at the time of rapid photographing. SOLUTION: When a finder ocular state detection means 107 does not detect the ocular state of a finder, a camera control circuit 22 receives the result and outputs an oscillation signal to a connection line (a) so as to charge a main capacitor 21 by a flyback type booster circuit (S106). When the detection means 107 detects the ocular state of the finder, the control circuit 22 receives the result and outputs the oscillation signal to a connection line (b) so as to charge the capacitor 21 by the forward type booster circuit (S105). |
