PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely hold a shutter blade at a closing position and also to stabilize the traveling of the shutter blade in a camera shutter device. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with the shutter blade 20 provided so as to be movable between an opening position at which it opens an aperture part 10a for exposure and the closing position at which it closes the aperture part 10a, and a first electromagnetic driving source 30 to generate holding force by which driving force is directly exerted to the shutter blade at an energizing time and the shutter blade is held at the closing position at a non- energizing time, and it is also provided with a second electromagnetic driving source 40 by which movement is regulated by exerting pressing force in the same direction as that of the holding force by directly engaging with the first part to be pressed 25a of the shutter blade when the shutter blade is at the closing position and the pressing force is exerted by directly engaging with the other second part to be pressed 25b of the shutter blade right before the shutter blade is traveled.
