PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepped cargo handling vehicle ensuring handling operation while preventing the side movement of an operator due to inertia during turning. SOLUTION: The stepped cargo handling vehicle 1 comprises an up-and-down movable folk 10 having a wheel 10a, a body 11 in which a driving portion of the folk 10 is built, a steering wheel 12 provided on the bottom face of the body 11, a handle 13 provided on the upper side of the body 11 for operating the steering wheel 12, and a step 15 provided at the rear side of the body 11 for accommodating an operator 14 of the handle 13, so that the handle 13 can be turned to the opposite side to the turning direction when turning. A holding member 16 is provided for holding the operator 14 to prevent the side movement of the operator 14 due to inertia operating on the operator 14 during turning.
