摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce shift shock occurring at power-off-up-shifting from a low speed transmission gear on which an engine brake acts to a high speed transmission gear. SOLUTION: In a power off 4 to 5 up-shifting accompanied by returning operation of an accelerator pedal, firstly, a solenoid SL4 is turned on to release a clutch C0 in order to interrupt power transmission so that the engine brake does not actuate. On the other hand, a synchronous time tu when a turbine rotating speed NT reduces near to a fifth speed synchronous rotating speed NT5 is obtained from a predetermined map, and a solenoid SL3 is turned on to maintain a brake B0 in a release condition until elapsed time from an upshift stat time (time t1) reaches the synchronous time tu, and the solenoid SL3 is turned off to engage the brake B0 to achieve a fifth transmission gear after reaching the synchronous time tu.
