PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure detecting element capable of achieving a high pressure detecting accuracy, while preventing stresses caused by temperature changes from being transmitted to a pressure detecting sensor chip. SOLUTION: The pressure detecting element has the pressure detecting sensor chip 16 fixedly disposed on hermetic glass 13. The sensor chip 16 is securely bonded to the chip mounting surface of the hermetic glass 13 by means of a hardened film 30 of liquid glass.
