PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a journal part rotational angle and a pin part rotational angle correspond to each other with high precision when the deflection of a crank shaft is measured. SOLUTION: The detection measuring instrument for the crank shaft 1 is equipped with an angle detecting means 7 which detects the rotational angle of the crank shaft 1, a distance detecting means 8 which detects the inside-thigh distance of a crank arm 4, and a processing unit 9 which finds the deflection of the crank shaft 1 by processing data of both the detecting means 7 and 8; and the distance detecting means 8 and processing unit 9 are connected by radio bidirectional data communication.
