PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for lamination with a polarizing film, minimizing light transmission and optical interference color which cause overlooking of mixed foreign matters and defects in inspection of polarizing plates and excellent in easiness of inspection. SOLUTION: In the stretched polyester film with >=5 deg. maximum orientation angle, the polyester film for lamination with the polarizing film is characterized by making variance of retardation (Re) expressed by an equation (1) be 200 nm or less. Re=Δn.d... equation (1) (Provided that in the equation (1) Δn is birefringence in the film plane directions at wavelength λ=590 nm and d is film thickness (nm)). |
