<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify determination of pinching in a pinching preventing method in a locking/unlocking apparatus for a door body, and the locking/unlocking apparatus per se which has a function of the preventing pinching, based on determination of the presence/absence of the pinching by the door body, when the door body is forcedly drawn to a full-latching state by a motor. SOLUTION: When a latch 8 is arranged at a closing starting position by introduction of a striker 4, the motor M is forward rotated to start operation to draw the latch 8 to the full-latching position. At this time, a limit switch 24 detects that the latch 8 is arranged from a home position to the closing starting position, and a timer circuit in a control circuit starts to count up a drawing operation time by the motor, based on the detection. When the drawing operation time exceeds a predetermined period of time, the control circuit determines that something has been pinched between a trunk door and a vehicle main body.</p> |
