PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular lamp holder and a packing apparatus wherein one or more circular lamps can be held, workability in packing is excellent, and a structure which prevents lamps from dropping when taking out the circular lamp from an individual packaging box is realized. SOLUTION: A sheetlike member which is cut in a cross (+) shape as a whole is prepared, and two belts 2 and 3 forming the cross (+) shape are constituted so that they can be folded into an obtuse angle and a center part can be compression-molded. An operator, at first, folds one of the belts 2 at its center line 2a into the obtuse angle, and thereafter folds the other belt 3 at its center line 3a into the obtuse angle and simultaneously applies force toward the center from both ends of the belt 3. Thus, the two belts 2 and 3 are folded and compression-molded into an acute angle at the center while being folded into the obtuse angle. Moreover, cuts for mounting the circular lamp are formed on parts formed into the obtuse angle of the circular lamp holder 5 which has been formed.
