PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device with superior visibility which is compact and light, having no frame and further high contrast, and less crosstalk in the case of representing a moving picture without decreasing the display quality by the increase of the drawing around resistance. SOLUTION: Pixel electrodes 11 are provided on the inside surface of a reverse-side substrate 10, and individually independent conductive paths 13 are connected to the pixel electrodes 11, further electrically connected to the outside surface of the reverse-side substrate 10 through the inside of the reverse- side substrate 10, and also connected to a liquid crystal driving circuit 30 which applies a liquid crystal driving signal potential.
