PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide moldings which show excellent biodegradability as well as wet tensile strength. SOLUTION: Non-fibrous components originating from natural organic substances (animal excretion, food and the like) are dispersed between vegetable fiber (wood fiber, linter fiber, bast fiber, stem fiber) to obtain moldings. The moldings are increased in its wet tensile strength by treatment with heat. The relation of the density of the moldings (D) with the wet tensile strength (S) is defined by the following formula (1): S>=3.8×D-1.2... (1) (wherein S is wet tensile strength is MPa; D is density of the moldings in g/cm3).
