PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable rubber composition which has excellent weather resistance, can highly improve a curing speed and adhesivity to various adherends, can improve adhesivity to various substrates, when mixed with various additives, and is especially useful as an electric insulating material such as an insulating covering material for electric wires or cables and as an elastic sealant, such as a sealant for laminated glass, for which particularly rapid curing is required. SOLUTION: This curing rubber composition characterized by comprising (A) a silyl group-containing ethylene/α-olefin/non-conjugated polyene random copolymer rubber whose non-conjugated polyene is a specific terminal vinyl group-containing norbornene compound and which contains specified hydrolysable silyl groups in the molecule, (B) a tetravalent tin compound, (C) a silicon compound represented by the general formula: R4aSi(OR5)4-a [R4 and R5 are each independently a 1 to 20C substituted or non-substituted hydrocarbon group; (a) is either of 0, 1, 2, and 3], and, if necessary, an isocyanate group-containing silane coupling agent (D).
