PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavating vehicle with an upper slewing structure, which can install a boarding grip without being affecting a transverse width of a cab. SOLUTION: The excavating vehicle with the upper slewing structure includes a slewing frame 11 rotatably mounted on a lower traveling body 2, and a front left corner 11b of the slewing frame 11 is set as a maximum rotational radius portion of the slewing frame 11. The cab 12 is set such that its front surface and its entrance side surface correspond to a front end surface 11a and a left end surface of the slewing flame 11, respectively. According to the excavating vehicle thus constructed, the boarding grip 31 is arranged below the cab 12 and on the front end surface 11a of the slewing frame 11. The grip 31 is installed on the front end surface 11a of the slewing frame 11 close to the front left corner 11b of the slewing frame 11.
