摘要 PURPOSE: A data path state reporting method of an exchange is provided to check and restore an error generated in a data path among an IPC(inter process communication) node by transmitting the error to an operator terminal on a real time basis, or transmit/receive data by switching an IPC node in a standby side to an active state. CONSTITUTION: An operator inputs an IPC node check period to an OS(operating system) of a CCP(central control subsystem) by using an operator terminal(201). The CCP transmits a ready signal to an SPCI(super performance control interworking) that is operated in an active state and drives a timer of the OS(202). The SPCI determines whether the ready signal is normally received or not from the CCP(203). If the SPCI does not receive the ready signal, it transmits a ready NACK signal to the CCP or is maintained in a standby state(205). If a time-out occurs in a timer as the CCP receives the ready NACK signal from the SPCI or does not receive any signal from the SPCI, the CCP transmits a ready signal to the SPCI that is operated in an active state according to a signal generation of the next period as wet(207). If a time-out occurs in the timer as the CCP does not receive any signal from the SPCI, the CCP determines whether the time-out is repeatedly generated(208). If the time-out signal is continuously generated, the CCP reports the operator terminal that the state of the data path among the IPC nodes is abnormal(209). Upon receiving the fact that the data path among the IPC nodes is abnormal from the CCP, the operator terminal checks or restore the error of abnormal the data path state, or transceives the data by switching the IPC node in the standby state to an active state(211).
