摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an instrument capable of evaluating quantitqtive-determiningly a contrast of brightness in a plan for an optical environment, and to provide a computor-readable recording medium recorded with a program for executing the method. SOLUTION: This instrument 10 for determining quantitatively the contrast of the brightness is provided with a measuring means 20 for measuring a brightness distribution image of an object, and a computing means 30 for conducting filtering for the brightness distribution image corresponding to an objective area in the object while changing a detection wavelength according to a prescribed filter function, and for finding an extremal value out of values provided by the filtering. The contrast of the brightness is quantitatively determined objectively to be useful for a developer of a luminaire and a designer carrying out an illumination plan for a space in a city and a building.
