<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the reuse of a holder for fitting a garnish, even after the actuation of an air bag. SOLUTION: The holder 10 for fitting the garnish 4 to a front pillar 1 has a pin member 11 on the garnish 4 side, and a grommet member 12 on the front pillar 1 side. A leg part 14 of the pin member 11 is inserted in a cylindrical part 22 of the grommet member 12. A first locking claw 16 of the leg part 14 is engaged with a first engaging part 25 of the cylindrical part 22 to obtain the specified fitted state of the garnish 4. Engagement between the first locking claw 16 and the first engaging part 25 is released by the inflating pressure of this air bag device 30 inside the garnish 4, and a second locking claw 17 of the leg part 14 is engaged with a second engaging part 26 of the cylindrical part 22 to prevent the slip-off of the pin member 11. The air bag 31 is expanded into a cabin through a clearance S formed between the garnish 4 and the front pillar 1 at this time.
