PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impulse heat sealer capable of increasing the number of times of sealing per unit time by reducing heating and cooling time. SOLUTION: The impulse heat sealer includes a compression-bonding lever 7 having a compression-bonding part 10a for compression-bonding a seal portion Fa of an object F to be sealed and a heating member 31 having a heater 31a for heating the seal portion Fa. The heat sealer is constituted so as to pinchingly hold the seal portion Fa between the compression-bonding part 10a and the heater 31a to perform sealing in a step of compression-bonding operation by the compression-bonding lever 7 and has a deformable rubber tube 31b for supporting the heater 31a, a cooling member 40 for supporting the rubber tube 31b, and a controller 51 for controlling the introduction of air into and the discharge thereof from a hollow part 31c of the rubber tube 31b. After air is introduced into the hollow part 31c at the start of the compression-bonding operation and the seal portion Fa is sealed, the air is discharged from the hollow part 31c and, by squeezing the hollow part 31c with the compression- bonding lever 7, the heat-radiation of heat in the heater 31a is promoted with the aid of the cooling member 40. |
