<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible transmission shaft capable of supporting a relatively heavy tool in spite of easy bending operation, and enlarging driving torque. SOLUTION: This transmission shaft 10 having four shafts 11 to 14 bendably joined with three joint parts 15 to 17 is supported rotatably about an axis by a holding case 30 formed by bendably joining four case members 31 to 34 at three joint parts 35 to 37. The transmitting shaft 10 is supported by a bearing B rotatably in the holding case 30, and the joint parts 35 to 37 of the holding case 30 bend about bending centers O of the joint parts 15 to 17 of the transmitting shaft 10. A rotation member on a power device 70 side is removably mounted on the one end side shaft 11 of the transmission shaft 10, and a rotation member on the tool side rotated by the power device 70 is removably mounted on the other side shaft 14 of the transmission shaft 10.</p> |
