PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting fluid collecting device capable of pumping cutting fluid and feeding to a floor type large capacity cutting fluid tank by utilizing the drive source of a chip conveyor installed on the side of the chip conveyor. SOLUTION: This cutting fluid collecting device installed on the side of the chip conveyor comprises the chip conveyor for discharging chips put on a hinge plate having chips and cutting fluid inputted thereon, a cutting fluid sump for accumulating the cutting fluid allowed to flow down through a clearance of the hinge plate of the chip conveyor, a cutting fluid pumping device pumping up the cutting fluid from the cutting fluid sump by the driving of the chip conveyor, and a cutting fluid tank for storing the cutting fluid pumped by the cutting fluid pumping device.
