PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the improved constitution of a balloon/delivery catheter provided with a lumen having a port in the vicinity of the balloon. SOLUTION: A medical catheter has an expandable balloon on the distal end part, and a delivery lumen having an outlet port through which a treatment or diagnosis agent is delivered position near as compared with the balloon. A single inflation/wire lumen extends from the proximal end of the catheter to the distal end thereof and the balloon is inflated with a pressure fluid through this lumen and a guide wire can extend through the balloon. Or, a vasoocchsive agent can be arranged in the delivery lumen of the catheter connected to the operable guide wire. |
