METHOD FOR CATALYTIC DECOMPOSITION TREATMENT OF CFC AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for catalytic decomposition treatment of CFC and a device therefore that exhibits high performance aiming for the high activities and the long service life of a catalyst in the catalytic decomposition treatment of CFC. SOLUTION: In the catalytic decomposition treatment method of CFC wherein CFC is supplied to a reaction vessel 17 having a CFC decomposition catalyst 16 charged therein, the method comprises a first step of controlling a temperature of a gas having high temperature by adding a diluent fluid for cooling to a high temperature gas generated through combustion of a hydrocarbon at a combustion means 11 and a second step of supplying and mixing CFC to and with the temperature controlled gas to supply the same to the reaction vessel 17 along with the temperature controlled gas. The device has a combustion means 11 to combust the hydrocarbon, a combustion chamber 13 equipped with temperature controlling means 19, 20a to control the high temperature gas generated by combustion to the fixed temperature by adding the diluent fluid for cooling and a gas supply member 15 to connect the combustion 13 with the reaction vessel 17 wherein a suction port 14 to supply and mix CFC to and with the temperature controlled gas from the combustion chamber 13 is provided.
