PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shoulder pad for a hanger which can readily be attached and detached, keep a shape of shoulders, it cloth of laundry well, and prevent slippage. SOLUTION: The shoulder pad is used by attaching it to cover shoulder portions of the hanger, and a pair of flat shoulder pad bodies 1a and 1b composed of cushion materials are connected in a state of aligning each central axis through a connecting portion 2. When attaching the shoulder pad bodies to the hanger folding them into half at the central axes as folding lines, the shoulder portions of the hanger are covered in a shape of a saddle. At inner surface of each shoulder pad main body at least a pair of fixing means 3a and 3b are provided at the positions symmetrical about the folding line, and the connecting portion is provided with an opening 4 into which an engaging hook of the hanger can be inserted. The shoulder pad bodies are composed of towel cloth, and the part near each the shoulder side is preferably thicker than that near the neck side.
