PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a pillow which ensures proper permeability so that aroma exuded from herbs enclosed inside the pillow can be fully drawn around the pillow, which is comfortable when used and has both elasticity and softness in a well-balanced way. SOLUTION: A cucurbitaceous, sponge cucumber is soaked in water for a while, and its seeds and flesh are removed after it is peeled, to obtain loofah. The loofah is dried and roll-formed into a sheet. Then, the loofah sheet is cut into an appropriate size and sewn into a bag. Then, the loofah scraps, cushion material such as cotton, and dried herbs are mixed together and stuffed in the loofah bag. Then, this bag is put into another bag made of honeycomb- structured nylon, and covered with a pillowcase. A Velcro (R) fastener is recommended for easy opening or closing of the nylon bag.
