PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient appliance to prevent the attachment of hair dye solution to the forehead during dyeing hair. SOLUTION: In an elastic, rectangular main plate 2 long in the right and left direction, the front longitudinal side is provided with first cut lines 3 that reach the rear part from the front end, being arranged at about regular intervals. The rear longitudinal side is provided with second cut lines 4 that reach the mid-point from the rear end, being in parallel with the first cut lines 3 with a narrow space between each of the first cut lines 3. The part divided by the first cut lines from a comb-shaped plate 5 and each part between a first cut line and a second cut line is made of an elastic connecting plate 6. The front part of the comb-shaped plate is provided with a small number of third cut lines 7, the front end of which forms comb teeth 8.
