PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core fabric for a curtain with lengthwise flexibility. SOLUTION: The core fabric for the curtain 1 is woven into a tape form using warp 5 and weft 6 which are composed of mono filament. On the front and back surface portions of the warp 5, concave portions 10 are provided at desired intervals in a lengthwise direction of the warp by pressing, and rigidity of the parts of the concave portions 10 are reduced to have lengthwise flexibility.
