<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaning apparatus which is prevented from consuming pump power in vain, exhibiting excellent energy saving, and which can efficiently clean water to be treated by fully utilizing the treating capacity. SOLUTION: This apparatus has a cleaning section 34 for purifying water to be treated with carried microorganisms and a pump 50 for causing a current in the water to be treated passing through the cleaning section 34 and is equipped with activity judgement means 51, 52 to judge the activity of the microorganisms in the cleaning section 34 and a control means 51 for controlling the pump 50 basing upon the judgement results by the activity judgement means 51, 52.</p> |
