PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planter box excellent in ventilation, capable of extremely increasing the fine appearance through bordering around flowering plants, and also capable of producing fantastic feeling through lighting by intentionally creating the shaded part and sunny part, as well as capable of planting relatively small potted plants such as flowers or grasses directly on the ground, and usable through putting potted plants therein. SOLUTION: This planter box is structured as follows: a shallow container part K where flowering plants P are to be planted or potted flowering plants are to be put, the portion ranging from both the right and left sides of the container part K through the rear side thereof rises up to form a wall part V, and a top plate part 7 is formed on the upper part of the container part K.
