PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographing apparatus and a radiographing method capable of forming a radiographic image of a high image quality by effectively correcting picture element defectives. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a saturated picture element detecting means 103db to detect picture elements saturated with signals by direct incidence of an X-ray into a CCD sensor 103c, and a picture element interpolating means 103dc to interpolate the picture element detected by the saturated picture element detecting means 103db based on signal values of picture elements existing around it to be the signal value for the picture element. Picture element defectives can thus be corrected properly even in the case where signal-saturated picture elements are changed at every radiography.
