PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which prevents a hand from being hit by a corner, or the like, of an opening part in a side wall when the game machine is carried. SOLUTION: This game machine is formed of a box shape with a front side thereof having an opening, and provided with a body frame with an opening part for holding formed in right and left side walls. A protective member for preventing a hand from being directly touched on each upper edge part is arranged on the upper edge part of each opening part so that the protective member covers from the outer side to the inner side of the side walls of the body frame. A placement member for placing a variable display device capable of variably displaying a plurality of patterns is provided inside the body frame. A supporting part for supporting right and left edges of the placement member and maintaining the placement member in an approximately horizontal condition is integrated with the each protective member, and the each supporting part of the each protective member is provided above a part for covering an upper edge of each opening part in the body fame.
