STRIP COUPLING APPARATUS OF WHOLE-LENGTH TENSION THREADING FACILITY

PURPOSE: A strip coupling apparatus of whole-length tension threading facility is provided to minimize abrupt tension change of strip generated due to speed difference between moving speed of the strip and moving speed of the coupling apparatus. CONSTITUTION: In a coupling apparatus for transferring the strip to the down coiler side by coupling a strip released from a finishing mill in a whole-length tension threading facility which is arranged at the finish rolling postprocess of a hot rolling mill, the strip coupling apparatus of the whole-length tension threading facility is characterized in that frame(11) and clamp(12) of the coupling apparatus are separately formed so that a plural dampers(13) are connected between the frame(11) and clamp(12) by means of a spring(14), and a distance measuring sensor is connectingly installed at a proper position between frame(11) and clamp(12) of the coupling apparatus so that the distance measuring sensor controls displacement of the coupling surface by feed backing actually measured speed displacement values according to measured strip tensions to a speed controller of a driving motor, thereby regulating speed of the driving motor.
