A device for an end attachment (5) for connecting a profile (3) to another profile (2), wherein the end attachment (5) is displaceably positioned on/in a first profile (3) and the end attachment (5) comprises two levers (8, 9) articulating with each other by a hinge (10), at least one of the levers (8, 9) being provided with a hook-like catch (11, 11') at its projecting outer end portion, the catches (11, 11') being arranged to be displaced, when the projecting end portions of the end attachment (5) have been brought together, through a longitudinal opening (7) of the other profile (2), and the hook-like catches (11, 11') bearing, after the projecting end portions of the end attachment (5) have been brought apart, against the internal wall of a longitudinal groove (6) of the other profile, a locking punch (16) having been inserted through a through opening (14) of the profile (3) and two corresponding grooves (12, 12') on the inside of the levers (8, 9) of the end attachment (5), whereby the locking punch (16) prevents the end attachment from being displaced within the profile (3), while at the same time locking the hook-like catches (11, 11') in engagement with the groove (6). |
