A cigarette box (10) with a lid (12), sides and a bottom, and with edges (19) binding outer surfaces of the box. The box has a striking pad (20) and a plurality of matches (22) in the form of elongated flat strips with inflammable heads (24). The strips are detachably attached to each other in a row. Each strip has an outer surface (25) exposed to the user, an inner surface (26) hidden from the user, a free end (28) from which the detachment of a match by tearing should start, and a non-free end (30) attached to at least one of the outer surfaces of the box. The heads are spaced from the free end and are located on the inner surface of the strip. |
