PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater, and its manufacturing method, in which gray scale can be realized more quickly and conveniently in a bubble jet (R) ink jet printer. SOLUTION: The heater of ink jet print head comprises first and second heating parts 120, 150 arranged concentrically to a nozzle 50, and first and second electrodes 130, 160 for applying heater drive power supplies to respective heating parts. The electrodes 130, 160 are applied, independently, with heater drive power supplies, 170, 180. The electrodes are applied with heater drive power supplies selectively or in combination to form bubbles of different volume and to eject ink liquid drops of different size thus realizing gray scale. |
