PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fryer 1 which prevents a batter from hanging on a rugged partition 7 installed above an electricity heater 3 provided at the bottom of an oil bath 2. SOLUTION: The fryer 1 is equipped with an oil baths 2 with an opening at its upper part to fry foods such as Tenpura and an electric heater 3 which is installed at the bottom of the oil bath for heating an oil 4. A rugged partition is installed above the electric heater in the oil bath so as to cover the heater, and is provided with the communicating holes below its top end.
