PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of transshipping works for seedling boxes. SOLUTION: The stage-stacked seedling boxes 1, 1,... are transferred to a seedling box-taking out position of a seedling box-taking out apparatus by a stage-stacking conveyor 2. The piled seedling boxes 1, 1,... are serially transshipped to a transshipping conveyor 6 by a seedling box-taking out device attached on a robot hand 5a and transferred to the terminal end side. The seedling boxes 1, 1,... are transshipped from the transshipping conveyor 6 to a shelving conveyor 7 and transferred to a shelving part, and they are shelved on a greening carrier at a shelving part. The shelving conveyor 7 and the stage- stacking conveyor 2 are placed side-by-side. Seedling boxes can be continuously transshipped from the stage-stacking conveyor 2 to the transshipping conveyor 6, and the efficiency of the shelving work of the seedling boxes can be improved. Since the shelving conveyor 7 and the stage-stacking conveyor 2 are placed side-by-side, the whole of the apparatuses are compacted, and the space in the facilities can be used efficiently.
