PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a catalyst for purifying an waste gas containing organic chlorinated compounds, by which a catalytic component can be uniformly dispersed on the surface of each titanium oxide particle as a catalyst carrier. SOLUTION: In the method of producing the catalyst for purifying the gas containing organic chlorinated compounds, in which a catalytically active component is deposited on titanium oxide particle, the catalytically active component is deposited in the presence of an amino alcohol.
