PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the simple handling operation of a work apparatus for extended range of application. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a handheld work apparatus, especially a bush cutter, an edge cutter, or the like, provided with a driving engine 1 and a cutting tool 2 driven with the driving engine 1. The work machine has a guide pipe 3 for guiding a driving shaft 4 for connecting the cutting tool 2 to the driving engine 1, and a handle 5 fixed to the guide pipe 3. In order to adjust a touch (a) for the guide pipe, the handle 5 has the shape of a handle-curved member 8, and can be swung on a swinging axis 7 lateral to the longitudinal axis 6 of the guide pipe 3. The handle 5 has a component extended in the direction of the longitudinal axis 6, and elastic handle curved member holders 22, 23 for attenuating vibrations are especially disposed between the handle-curved member 8 and the guide pipe 3. |
