PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of an auxiliary data display area in the inset display. SOLUTION: The medical image display apparatus comprises a medical image display means 14 for displaying a medical image 20 of a subject as the main image and an auxiliary data display means 30 for dynamically displaying a position-determining image 40 as the auxiliary data for the diagnosis for the medical image displayed on the medical image display means. Therefore, by referring to the dynamically displayed auxiliary data, the diagnostic work for the medical image can be carried out minutely and efficiently, reducing the load on a doctor.
