PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving mechanism by a servo-motor which bears a mold clamping pressure in the neighbourhood of the maximum mold clamping force in a motor-operated injection molding machine. SOLUTION: The motor-operated injection molding machine 100 has a toggle mechanism 40 and presses a movable die plate. which is not given in Fig., to a fixed die plate. Two servo-motors 80 are mounted on a tail stock 130 and drive two ball screws 60 through a belt 84. The third servo-motor 180 is mounted on the tail stock 130 through a bracket 140 and drives the two ball screws 60 through a belt 184. When the toggle mechanism is in a state of just before the maximum mold clamping force to be just before a dead point, the maximum torque load is applied to a servo-motors, but the load is borne by the three servo-motors.
