SOLUTION: This autonomous moving robot comprises a position and attitude measuring unit 3 for measuring the position and the direction of the robot itself, and a product unit 4 for performing the autonomous traveling to the pre-programmed destination based on the measured result of the position and the attitude by the position and attitude measuring unit 3, and further comprises an operation detection unit 5 for detecting the operation intended by an operator. The control unit 4 also performs the movement and the change in attitude intended by the operator based on the detected result by the operation detection unit 5. The movement and the attitude can also be changed by the operation input to the operation detection unit 5 in addition to the numerical input.
