PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating waste water from desulfurization, whereby the waste water can be treated by means of an electrodialyzer without encountering the problem of the break of the electrodialysis membrane. SOLUTION: In a method for treating waste water from desulfurization for removing chlorine therefrom by means of an electrodialyzer 18, the waste water in which an adsorbent is dissolved in a supersaturated concentration is fed into an aging apparatus 16 to lower the degree of supersaturation of the adsorbent, and then the aged waste water is fed into an electrodialyzer 18 to remove chlorine therefrom.
