CHARGING TYPE ELECTRIC VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging type electric vacuum cleaner in which a battery for a cleaner body and a battery for a suction tool for a floor can be charged by means of a common charger. SOLUTION: The cleaner body 1 is placed on a placing base 31 of a charging base 30 in which a charger consisting of a transformer and a charging control circuit is built and which has a charging terminal contact point so as to face the back face of the cleaner body 1 downward under a condition where the suction tool for the floor is mounted and the suction tool 20 for the floor is also placed on a placing base 32 of the charging base 30 for storing them. In this case, a charging terminal disposed on the charging base comes into contact with a charge receiving part (this is not shown in the figure) disposed on the back face of the cleaner body 1 and the charge receiving part (this is not shown in the figure) disposed on the back face of the cleaner body 1 and a contact point of the charge receiving part disposed on the suction tool 20 for the floor are connected with each other and the first battery 13 built in the cleaner main body 1 and the second battery 23 built in the suction tool 20 for the floor are connected with each other in series and are charged with electricity.
