PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems with a hand drier used in an environment such as a washroom, toilet, kitchen or the like, including damage or the like to the shell due to use of a detergent or a chemical for cleaning the shell. SOLUTION: A front case 46 forming a shell, a drying chamber 4, side plates 31, a drain tank 9 and the like are formed of a molding of a resin. Therefore, the resin material is characteristically chemical resistant and weather resistant, and protects the shell against damage leading to breakage, air leakage or the like.
