PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejector in a ceramic recording head having independent spaces other than channels in which distortion is suppressed on the periphery of the independent space. SOLUTION: The liquid ejector comprises a nozzle plate 17 having nozzle openings 3, a channel forming part 30 laminated on the nozzle plate 17 while having pressure generating chambers 2 communicating with the nozzle openings 3 and chambers 4 for storing ink being supplied to the pressure generating chambers 2, and a diaphragm 11 laminated on the channel forming part 30. Since first and second interconnection holes 24, 25 for leading independent spaces other than channels, e.g. damper chambers 7 or pressure generating chambers 2A at the opposite ends of an array existing in the channel forming part 30, to the outside are formed, the independent spaces are opened to the atmosphere and air confined in the independent spaces at the time of laminating or firing green sheets is discharged. Consequently, the bonding part of the plate is not distorted on the periphery of the independent space and insufficient bonding of plates is eliminated.
