PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the trouble caused by the sedimentation of pigment in ink stored in a sub-tank. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording apparatus constituted so that the ink supplied from an ink tank through an ink supply tube is stored in a sub-tank 3 and supplied to a recording head 4 from the sub-tank, a piezoelectric vibration element 33 is joined to the elastic sheet 31 demarcating a part of the ink chamber 20 of the sub-tank and the elastic sheet is vibrated by the piezoelectric vibration element to stirr the ink. |
